#35 WAHOO!

Weather forecast was not great, but we couldn’t resist. We launched the boat nice and early, got a full scoop of bait and pushed west. Most of the day was uneventful, but when we found the warm water we found some action. Not much kelp out there, but there was life in the warm pockets. We found jumping dorado and a sleeper marlin. We tried to get the marlin to bite but it was not interested. Just before the wind came up we saw an elephant seal and then hook up! Two of our troll rods started screaming. One of them was short bite on the DTX and didn't stick. The other stayed on. Wahoo!
