Beside The Point is a Point Loma fishing brand created by a family that lives “beside the point” in salty San Diego! We are a fishing family who strive to make timeless, functional and fun apparel for boaters, anglers and other salty families. Our apparel and fishing products are inspired by the good times we have on the water, and are perfect for any coastline. We also provide weekly fishing reports on our social accounts and our “Fishing Reports” section of our website. Our roots in Point Loma go deep and we believe that what we catch is beside the point.

Beside The Point Products are made for any coastline. We live our life “beside the point” of Point Loma, but there are many points all around the world. Even if you are not on the coast, we believe that whatever you do is “beside the point.” In other words, it’s irrelevant, because it is the adventure that matters most.
